[worldbuildingex] Dear Wolrdbuilder
GENERAL DO NOT WANTS
+ Explict non/con, dub/con - I'm fine with the aftermath/mentions and other, just no graphic or centered in explicit content.
+ Het relationships , genderbending* (general)
* Keral is a genderfluid character, exploring that is awesome, I just don't want it for other non-Chieri characters.
+guro, explicit non-canonical violence, eating disorders, bloodplay, scat and other fluids than semen.
- I'm happy if the fic/meta includes more characters in each fandom. For Original Characters, I prefer they are secondary in Star Trek, Teen Wolf, and Darkover. (of course they will be primary only in the Original Works fandom)
GENERAL LIKES
-polyamory, 3somes, cuddling, friendship that turns into love, boys being silly and havIng problems to express their feelings, kinky sex (favs are: size kink; inocence; light bdms -calling sir, bondage, some discipline- but no 24hs arrangements or PET; dirty talk; knoting & breeding; mpreg; fingering & rimming; overestimulation; voyerism). I love kidfic, even when it's fruit of older relationships. I also enjoy cannon or not cannon hobbies, alternative families, domesticity and people being people, instead of just superheroes/rulers/etc.
I'm open to all ratings, from the pinning that ends with a kiss to full sex, pwp or plotty fic.
SPECIFIC WORLDBUILDING EXCHANGE WANTS (per fandom)
Darkover Series
Character Tags: No Characters , Keral, David Hamilton, Danilo Syrtis, Regis Hastur, Original Characters.
For fanfic, I would love to see more of the intimate life of the characters, of their relationships, romantic or platonic, friendship or any other.
Worldbuilding: Chieri Gender Fluidity, if you chose Keral and/or David
Discussion of how the Chieri are, they culture, how Keral's gender fluidity continues to affect them post-book (The World Wreckers). About their kid and his hald-Chieri status and any other discussion related to it.
Worldbuilding: Bredu/Bredda Lynguistics Development for Danilo and/or Regis, where there is a discussion of what they mean to each other, and how the society sees their bond, when Regis is to marry Linea, but Danilo is the one to fertilize her at the end of the book. I super interested in what Bredu/Bredda and Breddin mean and how they can become more than just a term of endearment.
Resource: http://www.phy.duke.edu/~trenk/darkover/casta.html (about the linguists of most casta language).
Worldbuilding: Renunciates In House Life
Worldbuilding: Matrix Technology and Woman
Worldbuilding: First Contact Colony
For this three tags I open to either fic or meta, leaning more on meta. I would love to see more on the rules and everyday life in the Renunciates house. For the first contact colony tag anything on either the romances Darkover Landfall or Rediscovery, discussing how Darkover/Cottman IV is or isn't a Terran Colony, myths about it, centered in the colony and how it grown, how they made what Darkover is, what vestiges of Terran Culture are still there. Finally, any exploration of the matrix technology and how it affects the leronis (emotionally, biologically,etc.).
Star Trek: Alternate Original Series (Movies)
Characters Tags: Spock, Spock Prime, Sarek, Leonard McCoy, James Kirk, No Characters
Tags: Worldbuilding: Alternative Federation/Vulcan Relationship
Worldbuilding: Vulcan Anatomy
Worldbuilding: Yorktown (Star Trek: Alternate Original Series)
Worldbuilding: Vulcan Touch Telepath (Star Trek: Alternate Original Series)
Worldbuilding: Vulcan Child Raising (Star Trek: Alternate Original Series)
Worldbuilding: Vulcan Bonding Traditions (Star Trek: Alternate Original Series)
Worldbuilding: Alternative Federation/Vulcan Relationship (Star Trek: Alternate Original Series)
For this fandom I'm always fascinated for any Vulcan exploration on lore, how to raise a child (and the complications of a half human/half vulcan child), alternatives to canon/fanon exploration of touch telepathy, bonding traditions, on how Vulcan entered or not the Federation, and in Vulcan anatomy. As far as you can get from the canon or the usual fandom explorations, the better.
For the Yorktown tag, I super cool to anything about the development of the city(how it was created, how it self-sustains) things with the Sulu family, stories with shore leaves in it, prior to the film and after it, post- Strek Beyond stories - rebuilding, the crew and how they see the city.
Teen Wolf
Characters Tags: Derek Hale, Jackson Whittemore, Stiles Stilinski, Chris Argent, Isaac Lahey, No Characters
- I'm happy if the fic/meta includes more characters, including Original ones, I just prefer not to have the focus to be solely in them.
Tags:
Worldbuilding: Born versus Bitten Wolves (Teen Wolf) - alternative explorations of bitten and born werewolves, special things only bitten wolves have.
Worldbuilding: Kanima Lore (Teen Wolf) - Completely different take of the kanima, being Jackson or not, exploring the legend, other rules of how it operates, how it appears, and of how is defeated, Jackson never becomes a werewolf, but stays as a kanima and how that affects the pack.
Worldbuilding: Magic (Teen Wolf) - other magical character other than Stiles, hunters + magic, werewolf magic, other types of magical beings connected to the pack, other types of emmissaries.
Worldbuilding: Mates (Teen Wolf) - Chris Argent as a werewolf mate, soulbonding + platonic relationship, pack dynamics.
Worldbuilding: Werewolf Lore - other non-canonical interpretations of werewolves, of humans in packs, of pack dynamics, of the eye colors meanings.
Original Works (twice for more tags)
Character Tags: No Characters, Original Characters, Non Human Characters, Non-Binary Characters
Tags:
Worldbuilding: Magic exists (Original Work - High Fantasy)
Worldbuilding: Shapeshifting and Magical Creatures (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: Ritual and Sacred Entities (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: Hidden Magical Communities (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: Sacrifice (Original Work)
I would love to see magic as an everyday life occurrence, be it in confront to non-magic communities or simply in a new/or existing, but explored beyond the real life, groups that practice magic. I would like to see spells, rituals, how magic can affect a family or relationships. If there are rules or not, if there are sets of different rules to different people, is it connected to religion/politics? Stories or meta on worlds with magical creatures and shapeshifters.
Worldbuilding: any atypical take on the soulmates trope (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: atypical take on any trope (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: Gender Fluid Bonding and Prejudice (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: Literature about Soulmates (Original Work)
Worldbuilding: Non-binary gender system (Original Work)
Stories/meta that focus on people, and relationships. Specially the ones where a new element is introduced to a trope (soulmates or not). Focus on non-binary possibilities and in non-monogamous relationships too. Non-binary system + gender fluid people, prejudice and support discussed in a non-binary system or in a non-monogamous one.
Soulmates with a twist, characters that don't fit in the perfect soulmate scope, the clash between non-binary and binary soulmates.
Worldbuilding: Planetary cultures (Original Work - Pulp SF)
Worldbuilding: First Contact Colonies (Original Work)
Spacial cultures, settlement of a new colonies, first contact with communities in a different technological level, with other moral/political systems.
For this fandom I also encourage using more than one worldbuing tag - like a space opera with a non-binary system that has a magical religion/culture that is based in soulmates. *grins* Go wild!
